Join us at a eucharist followed by champagne reception to mark the passing of the legislation to admit women to the episcopate and the consecration of Rt Revd Libby Lane on Saturday 31 January 2015 at St Mark’s Hamilton Terrace, London NW8 9UT, at 2:30 p.m.
Our preacher will be the Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin. Rose is Priest-in-Charge of St Mary-at-Hill in the City of London. She is also Chaplain to the Queen, Speaker’s Chaplain to the House of Commons and Priest Vicar at Westminster Abbey. We will be joined also by men and women who have worked – and will continue to work – for the full recognition of the gifts of both men and women in the Church of England, including (we hope) the Rt Revd Michael Perham, Sally Barnes, the Revd Canon Philippa Boardman, the Revd Dr Hannah Cleugh, Mary Johnston, and the Very Revd Andrew Nunn.
To help us judge numbers, please let us know if you plan to join us by sending an email to:email@example.com.
